DEVELOPMENT KITCHEN LINE COOK | Circa £26,200 per annum

This role will be based within the Development Kitchen at our Sherwood Forest village.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Line Cook to join our Development Kitchen.

Working with the Group Development Chef (GDC), this role will be instrumental in the preparation and delivery for all food and drink preparation and production for menu development.  This will include tastings, test cooking, training and photoshoots for food & drink menus, including production of marketing and training collateral. 

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working as a Line Cook including supervisory responsibility and will be a positive role model with a supportive approach.

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, however flexibility will be required.

This role will be based within the Development Kitchen at our Sherwood Forest village.

ABOUT YOU

Essential requirements:

  • Previous experience at Line Cook level, including supervisory responsibility producing a range of dishes using fresh produce
  • Positive role model and supportive approach to leading a team

Desirable requirements:

  • A formal cooking qualification or willingness to study towards
  • Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate
  • Previous experience in a food development environment
  • Naturally cheerful, patient and friendly
  • Previous administration experience including the use of Word and Excel
