ASSISTANT BI & INSIGHTS ANALYST

Circa £28,600 per annum, dependent on experience

Hybrid role with both office and home-working

Are you naturally curious, great with numbers and looking to build your career in data analysis?

If you enjoy solving problems and translating data into real-world insights, this could be the perfect opportunity to develop your analytical skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.

We’re looking for an Assistant BI & Insights Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team - helping us make smarter, data-led decisions that drive continuous improvement across our villages.

In this varied and engaging role, you’ll work closely with BI Insight Partners to support data gathering, reporting and insight delivery across key areas of the business, including Leisure, Guest Experience, Accommodation, and Food, Beverage & Retail (FBR).

You’ll play a hands-on role in extracting and validating data, identifying trends, and helping the wider team answer big questions through clear, visual analysis – including developing and maintaining dashboards that support smarter decision making and effective data visualisation.

Whether you're writing SQL queries, working with large datasets in Excel, or creating clear visual insights with Qlik, you’ll be a valued part of the team - helping us turn data into action that makes a difference.

As our Assistant BI & Insights Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering and validating data from multiple systems
  • Supporting business reporting through SQL queries and Excel analysis
  • Assisting in developing clear, user-friendly dashboards using Qlik
  • Helping translate business questions into actionable insight
  • Working collaboratively with Insight Partners and key stakeholders
  • Maintaining consistency and integrity in how we use and present data

You’ll have the opportunity to get involved across the full BI lifecycle - from initial data extraction to insight delivery - all within a friendly yet professional team who are passionate about making data matter.

ABOUT YOU

What we’re looking for:

  • A degree in Mathematics, Statistics or another analytical subject
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills — able to explain analysis clearly
  • A logical mindset and a natural curiosity for problem solving
  • Confidence with Excel and/or other data manipulation tools
  • A positive, proactive approach and a willingness to learn

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Experience working in an analytical environment
  • Familiarity with SQL or Qlik
  • An understanding of the travel, leisure or hospitality industry

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, dynamic working is available whereby the earliest start time is 7am and the latest finish time is 7pm.

Please note, this role will be hybrid with a mixture of office-based and home-working.
