Nestled in the heart of our forest you will find the centrepiece of Center Parcs, the Subtropical Swimming Paradise. Heated to 29.5C all year round and open from 10am to 9pm daily, the huge pool area includes a toddler pool, wave pool, whirlpool and exciting flumes as well as the wild water rapids. There are many activities available from learning to Snorkel, Scuba Diving and Aqua jets.
SWIMMING POOL MANAGER | Circa €55,000 per annum plus 12% Bonus Scheme
Reporting to the Leisure Services Manager, you’ll lead a large and diverse team, with responsibility for the commercial management and day to day operation of all Subtropical Swimming Paradise facilities. This will involve monitoring KPI’s and managing financial budgets, as well as overseeing compliance with all quality and safety requirements, in addition to developing an on-going activity programme and maximising all revenue generating opportunities.
As an Operational Manager you will have strong people management skills as well as technical and commercial know how and direct experience of managing a large / diverse team, ideally in a leisure environment, is essential.

As this role forms part of the village management team, you should be accustomed to working collaboratively with other functions and key stakeholders to achieve excellent outcomes. We’ll also expect you to display a strong customer focus and good level of financial awareness, including a proven track record in controlling, implementing and managing budgets and driving high service standards.

HOURS OF WORK
You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Shifts are predominantly between 8am and 6pm, as well as working 2 weekends in 4.
As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis with a premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday.
