SEASONAL HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANT / BED MAKER (Fixed-Term) | £12.37 per hour

We are looking for enthusiastic and driven individuals to join our busy housekeeping team, to ensure families can enjoy quality time together in the comfort of their accommodation. No previous experience is necessary as we’ll give you all the training you need, and you’ll be working in small teams for support.

THE ROLE

As a Bed maker, you will be provide support to the Housekeeping Accommodation team by performing the following duties:

  • Stripping and making beds
  • Sweeping floors and patio areas
  • Emptying bins and starting dishwasher cycles
  • General maintenance and upkeep of external areas.

The role can be physically demanding as you’ll be required to walk/cycle around our village to reach the different units of accommodation, so you can cover a lot of distance throughout the day.

Many of our Bed Makers return to us throughout the holiday periods so this could be a great opportunity to secure regular fixed-term work.

HOURS OF WORK

This is a fixed-term job until 1st September 2025

This is a part-time role, working Fridays and Mondays only from 9:45am to 4:15pm.

We can offer free transport plus paid travel time to and from work for certain locations - 1 Hour Travel time from Carlisle every Monday & Friday, 2 Hours Travel time from West Coast every Monday & Friday.

Candidates must be available to attend First Day in the Forest Saturday 12th July 2025 and Additional Training Dates on Monday 14th & Friday 18th July 2025

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

We’re looking for candidates who can demonstrate good communication skills, with both guests and colleagues.

  • No previous experience is necessary as full training will be given
