Spa Training Coordinator

Aqua Sana Forest Spa is an award-winning spa offering a combination of experiences, products and treatments. Each spa – one at each Center Parcs location – is uniquely designed, with up to 25 spa experience rooms to explore. There is also an extensive range of face and body treatments available to book, carried out by expert therapists using products from the finest product houses including Elemis, Comfort Zone and VOYA.

Aqua Sana Forest Spa is extremely popular and is accessible to both guests staying on the Village as a Center Parcs guest, and external guests who visit Aqua Sana Forest Spa during Spa Days and Spa Breaks.

SPA TRAINING COORDINATOR | £16.92 per hour

You will manage and deliver the Aqua Sana Forest Spa training schedule, ensuring that our Spa Beauty Therapist team is fully trained to deliver services from our treatment menu and that all Aqua Sana Forest Spa colleagues receive thorough onboarding and legal compliance training to maintain our high standards.

As an ambassador for our product houses, you will deliver training to a consistently high level, conducting regular audits to ensure the highest of standards are maintained. You’ll build strong relationships with external brands and training departments, attending relevant training courses both internally and externally.

This role also involves recruiting and managing all Beauty Therapist Apprentices, ensuring full compliance with the apprenticeship programme requirements and providing ongoing support to keep them motivated, valued and consistently delivering excellent service to our guests.

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis over 7 days. Your hours will fall between 6:45am and 10:15pm.

As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for an excellent communicator who can demonstrate significant experience of working in the beauty industry, and who can also relate to our therapists and cultivate learning opportunities that promote quality outcomes for the business and our guests. 

Essential requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop, support and challenge a team
  • Level 3 Beauty qualification or equivalent
  • Previous experience of working within a similar role / beauty industry
  • Previous experience of delivering training and presenting to groups
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Friendly, genuine and warm towards guests and colleagues
  • Coaches’ individuals to be accountable for their own performance

You may be required to support the operational management rota ensuring the smooth day to day running of the operation, facilities, and team to include opening and closing of the department.

Desirable requirements:

  • Previous experience with a spa / leisure booking systems
