Housekeeping Manager - Service Excellence

Welcome to Center Parcs – the number one choice for short break holidays, employing a team of over 10,000 people across six separate villages located in the UK and Ireland. Working together to create memorable moments in beautiful forest locations, we’re proud of the reputation we’ve built for delivering unique family focused experiences to an increasing number of guests.

Service Excellence is a multi-functional, centralised service that sits within Housekeeping Accommodation. It’s directly accountable for a range of key operational tasks and activities, and your input in this Division will have a visible and measurable impact on the continuing delivery of a high-quality guest experience.

SERVICE EXCELLENCE MANAGER |  Circa £39,500 per annum plus 12% bonus scheme - SECONDMENT until 18th December 2025

Leading a large operational team, with an enhanced service recovery capability at its core, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all ancillary services across the division, managing schedules, holidays, absence and performance, to ensure the smooth and efficient running of all service excellence functions. Focusing on the successful achievement of critical KPI’s, such as labour turnover and financial targets, including payroll and guest compensation levels, as well as service excellence scores, you and your team will enable us to provide a swifter response to guest feedback and deliver positive resolutions across improved timescales.

You will support with facilitating and developing a culture that promotes and encourages the general wellbeing, motivation, and morale of your team, whilst ensuring effective performance management strategies are in place and your team are actively contributing towards this.

If you’re someone who relishes managing people and actively champions service excellence, then we know you won’t be able to resist this exciting prospect of working in a unique setting and developing your career in an industry leading business that recognises and rewards real talent.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

It’s a key management role, requiring a proven performer, with relevant supervisory / management experience, including leadership of a large team in a demanding service driven environment and ideally, although not necessarily, involving some exposure to a housekeeping or facilities operation.

Alongside this, we’re also looking for a solid grasp of budgeting and financial controls, as well as the ability to plan, prioritise and schedule workloads, whilst also supporting, developing and continually motivating your colleagues to meet the challenges and demands that the team will face.

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period. Flexibility will be required to cover all business needs including being part of the Housekeeping Duty Manager rota.

As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.]
