Stores Controller - Technical Services

The dedicated team provide a speedy response to any service breakdown while delivering excellent care, so our guests can relax knowing they’re being taken care of.

STORES CONTROLLER - TECHNICAL SERVICES | £14.64 per hour

The Stores Controller role is a key position within the team to ensure a smooth-running service. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining correct stock levels to allow a high level of operational performance
  • Ordering of stock, material and parts through our procurement system to agreed specification and budgets
  • Providing stock and usage reports as requested
  • Maintenance of the stores to provide a clean and safe environment
  • Providing support to department managers by sourcing goods, raising contract orders, raising purchase orders, receipting goods and producing reports

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Hours will be Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.

As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.

ABOUT YOU

Essential requirements:

  • Previous stores operating experience
  • Computer literacy and the ability to manipulate data to produce sensible and informative reports
  • Have completed relevant training in office-based software platforms and be familiar with electronic procurement systems
  • Proven organisational skills and attention to detail

Desirable requirements:

  • Relevant NVQ qualification in stores operations
