About the role

Are you a dynamic and creative tutor with a passion for writing fiction?

Then join us to develop and teach one of our termly Masterclass: fiction workshops (starting either September, January, or April), where you will work to inspire a group of ten advanced-level students to make use of the elements of writing needed to craft compelling novels and short fiction. We are particularly interested in hearing from those with a strong publication profile in fiction (novels and/or short stories), and prior experience of facilitating advanced level fiction workshops.

To be considered, please submit your CV and a covering letter, detailing your skills and experience. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of fiction writing craft.
  • Recent, proven industry experience as a published fiction writer with a national or international profile.
  • Experience of teaching adults or groups of adults in the creative writing space.
  • Experience of online teaching and learning would be beneficial although not essential.
