Hindi Tutor

Are you a dynamic and innovative Hindi Tutor with a passion for teaching adult learners? Then why not join the thriving Languages department at our ‘outstanding’ Ofsted rated College, helping to bring together people across London and beyond, and to enrich lives through learning.

The department offers courses in over 30 modern and ancient world languages, including Hindi, catering to all levels, from beginners to advanced, with both online and classroom formats, ranging from daytime, evening and weekend. This role will play a key part in enabling learners to develop their Hindi language skills and communicate effectively in real life situations.

We are currently seeking a Hindi Tutor for:

  • Hindi beginners: short introduction, in July, 4 weeks x 2 hours, face-to-face delivery in the evening (flexibility in terms of day and time in the evening). This will be a fixed-term opportunity with the possibility of continuing from January 2025.
  • Hindi beginners: module 1, in September, 11 weeks x Tuesday 17:45 – 19:15, face-to-face delivery, (possible flexibility in terms of day and time in the evening). This will be a fixed-term opportunity with the possibility of continuing from January 2025.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Advanced level of verbal and written Hindi, with the ability to converse at native speaker level.
  • Experience of teaching Hindi, ideally to groups of adults.
  • Up to date knowledge, enthusiasm and interest for the subject.
