This role is a fixed term contract for 13 months.
Purpose of the role:
Reporting to the Client Solutions Senior Manager. the overall purpose of the role is to support the audit practice in the efficient use and set up of all audit tooling and technology to include:
- Supporting the audit team in administration of client engagement portals
- Supporting the audit team in use of accounts preparation and audit platforms
- Triaging and resolving issues in relation to the use of data analytic tools
- Administering licenses and access to engagement files
- Supporting audit teams with queries on analytics tools
The role will primarily be based in Crowe Oldbury office.
Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in development of best practice and consistent process for set up of appropriate audit-based analytics tools
- Logging requests for set up
- Maintaining controls and checks to ensure all requests are completed in the required time frame
- Liaising with teams on the status of issues
- Reporting any bugs found in the software to the tool’s own support unit or development team
- Assisting in writing training content for the product and supporting the Enablement team in delivery as needed.
- Testing of new procured and developed tools

Technical Skills, Experience and Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of General Ledger, account reconciliations, audit and accounting terminology.
- Experience with all relevant Office 365 products including Outlook and Excel.
- Good understanding of a range of accounting and data analytics programmes advantageous.
- Problem solving and solution driven.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AAT, CFAB, ACCA or ACCA qualified or working towards relevant professional qualification.
