About this role
This role is an exciting opportunity for a high calibre and ambitious graduate, or individual with some previous experience in a digital forensics’ role, who wants a new challenge and to shape and develop their career in a professional services firm. The successful candidate can expect to be deployed on live projects affecting real people, in real time. Examples of such projects in the past include:
- Financial crime investigations.
- Digital evidence collection and eDiscovery
- Cyber resilience reviews; and
- Corporate intelligence using OSINT.
The client project work will typically involve being 'hands-on’, at the heart of clients’ operations, taking day-to-day responsibility for delivery of work to help them to solve their issues under the supervision of other members of the Forensic Services team.
The firm’s focus is centred on the client, and the sustained delivery of a high quality, highly professional service. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a willingness to provide outputs to the best of their ability, and conduct themselves in a such a manner that upholds the firm’s professional image
Responsibilities
- Proactively assist in the management of clients.
- Get involved in any live projects, whether that be fraud or cyber based projects; and
- Explore the wide range of tools we use to investigate fraud and cybercrime.
- Collect digital evidence for investigations.
- Deliver forensic investigations via our eDiscovery platform.
- Research topics for our marketing campaign, Forensic Fundamentals.
- Work closely with other members of the Forensic Services team and wider members of the organisation.
- Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients.
- Get involved in any live projects, whether that be fraud or cyber based projects; and
- Explore the wide range of tools we use to investigate fraud and cybercrime.
Requirements
- Degree or professional qualification in a financial, economic crime or cyber security discipline
- Proactively keep up to date with emerging fraud and cyber trends; and
- Attend the office at least 2 times a week.
Experience
- Some previous experience or understanding of digital data collection and eDiscovery platforms would be desirable but not essential.
- Previous work or volunteering experience.
- A strong understanding of fraud and cyber related topics.
