Derby College Group (DCG) are recruiting for a dynamic HR Business Partner to join our high performing HR team. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with the high profile and expanding Technology department at DCG and make a positive impact for our staff and in turn our students.  This role will involve hybrid working, including working from home and attending our key client site Rolls Royce at least once a week.

The Opportunity

As a HR Business Partner at DCG, you’ll play a pivotal role in the success of the high profile and growing Technology department, which has around 50 employees encompassing subjects including construction, motor vehicle and engineering.  As a Trusted Advisor you will provide high quality people management advice to senior leaders and people managers, and develop tailored HR solutions informed by the wider DCG and HR strategy. 

Within this role, you’ll also have the opportunity lead on the delivery of a range of projects, such as policy development, process improvement and change management, to support the achievement of the College's strategy and ambitions.

About you

You’ll be an experienced HR Business Partner with a passion for shaping an inclusive and progressive environment which values the contributions of all involved. As a proactive problem solver with great communication and interpersonal skills, you’ll be able be adept at building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.  Your understanding of employment law and regulations will be highly developed and current.
