Derby College Group (DCG) have an exciting opportunity for a Curriculum Support Assistant to join the Engineering department, working predominantly at the Rolls Royce Learning and Development Cente. This is a supporting role which requires the successful candidate to assist the engineering staff during the practical based tasks. It offers an insight into teaching and could provide an excellent opportunity to develop in the teaching profession.

 

About you

You will be flexible, self-motivated and dedicated to student achievement. A good understanding of practical tasks within and engineering workshop is required, including using lathes and or milling machines; along with a desire to enhance student’s practical skills and support curriculum staff with their teaching. You will be organised and have excellent interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team.
