An exciting opportunity has arisen at Derby College Group (DCG) for a motivated CSA with a wide knowledge of the Horticultural world to join our passionate team at Broomfield Hall. We are looking for someone to cover holidays, absences, and events at our Plant Centre, where you will be offering face-to-face customer services to customers looking to purchase plants.

 

The role

Derby College Plant Centre is a very busy, forward-thinking centre that adopts a professional and industry correct manner and create an environment where the care and promotion of the plants is the primary concern. You will be offering advice and guidance to potential customers on a variety of plants. Hours will vary and are not fixed, therefore some flexibility will be required. Please note this role will also involve weekend work.

 

About you

You should be organised and have excellent interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team. Your primary focus will be customer facing and ensuring all the resources are well maintained. You will have good knowledge of plant care, including watering and propagation.
