The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Specialist SEND Teacher to join our team, supporting post-16 learners in an inclusive and nurturing environment. You will play a crucial role in helping students develop essential life and academic skills, empowering them to achieve their full potential.
What you will be doing:
- Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons for students with SEND
- Use innovative strategies to support learning, emotional regulation, and communication development.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide a safe, inclusive, and structured environment where students can thrive.
- Contribute to personalised learning plans, EHCP reviews, and progress tracking.

About you
We are looking for someone with experience working with post-16 learners with SEND, particularly in SEMH or Language & Communication as well as a qualified teacher status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent. If you have a compassionate and resilient approach to teaching and behaviour support, strong understanding of differentiated learning and assistive communication strategies and commitment to fostering independence and preparing students for adulthood then apply now!
