Derby College Group (DCG) are seeking an Specialist Support Trainer – Pathways to join our amazing inclusion provision. This role will be based at our iconic Broomfield campus.
The Opportunity
This role offers a valuable opportunity to support students in accessing personalised learning that prepares them for adulthood. Working closely with the Inclusion Curriculum Team, you will help develop person-centred support plans, deliver tailored programmes, and implement effective assessments. With a focus on inclusive practice and continuous professional development, this role is key to ensuring students’ progress with confidence into life and work.

About You
You are an enthusiastic and committed educator with a strong track record in teaching, learning, and assessment. With excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, you bring adaptability, strong organisation, and high expectations to everything you do. You have a solid understanding of inclusive education, the social model of disability, and how to support the personal and educational development of young people with diverse needs. You are passionate about safeguarding, championing inclusive practice, and continually developing your professional knowledge to improve outcomes for all students.
