Derby College Group (DCG) are recruiting for an Adult Learning Coordinator / Assessor to join our excellent Adult & Community team. This is a great opportunity to support our adult learners in achieving qualifications to improve their life and work aspirations. In this role, you’ll work across multiple sites.

The Opportunity

In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll be responsible for interviewing and enrolling new learners, ensuring they are accurately tracked throughout their program using department and college systems. You’ll also take responsibility for the development, delivery, maintenance, and evaluation of associated systems and processes to ensure the smooth running of the department. Qualifications offered to learners include English, Maths, Digital, Biology, British Sign Language, and Craft.

About You

You’ll be a highly organised and adaptable Learning Coordinator / Assessor with the ability to support the efficient operation of Adult and Community department. Primarily based at our Joseph Wright Campus from Monday to Thursday, you will also need to be flexible to support across all our delivery sites regularly, including occasional evening work. Strong IT and administrative skills, effective customer service, and an empathetic nature are essential. Additionally, the ability to prioritise workload, solve problems, and maintain high levels of accuracy is crucial.
