Derby College Group (DCG) are recruiting for a Professional Construction Learning Facilitator (Higher Level) to join our Professional construction team. The Opportunity

Within this role you will be pivotal to the success of the Professional Construction provision the College delivers to 150 students from across the East Midlands.  The team you’ll be joining is energetic and diverse, with colleagues ranging from recent graduates to those with over 35 years’ experience within the construction industry to those who have been teaching with us for 6 years.

You will be delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment experience to ensure all learners are challenged, engaged and making progress every day. You will motivate, support and progress apprentices to achieve identified outcomes including all component parts of the Apprenticeship Standards, within the agreed timeframes.

About you

To excel in this role, you’ll have experience of the relevant industrial context (Building Services Engineering or Civil Engineering) with a degree or higher in Building Services Engineering or Civil Engineering or a related discipline. You will have A1  / TAQA Assessors qualification or willing to work towards. You will also have a certificate in Education/PGCE/Professional Diploma in Teaching or be willing to work towards.
