Derby College Group (DCG) are recruiting for a highly organised and adaptable Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to our Chief Financial Advisor. This role will be based at The Roundhouse and Ilkeston Campus with flexible working across all campuses/home in accordance with business needs. The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to proactively manage the diary of the CFO (Chief Financial Officer) Your working days will be varied by undertaking administrative duties, with an involvement in managing meeting cycles, organising college systems and effectively prioritising your workload to ensure smooth operations, whilst maintaining professionalism and confidentiality throughout. An integral part of this role is tracking the College’s supplier contracts for the CFO, which will include tracking approvals and overseeing the storage of them (both physical and electronic).

About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll be great at managing complex electronic diaries, demonstrating independent judgment to prioritise tasks and accommodate shifting priorities.  You’ll have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and highly developed interpersonal skills to allow you to build effective working relationships with a range of key stakeholders. You don’t need to have experience in a previous role but is essential that you are computer literate and competent at using the MS Office 365 suite.  You’ll have excellent Word skills, be confident using PowerPoint, and will have good capability at using Excel
