Derby College Group (DCG) are looking for an enthusiastic individual to deliver and assess in Health and Social Care. In this role, you will carry out work in accordance with awarding body guidelines and occupational assessment strategy. You will assess Apprenticeships and standalone Diplomas up to level 5.

 

The Opportunity

Becoming a Sessional Assessor of Health and Social Care is perfect for you to enhance your assessor career, as this is a sessional role it is very flexible and can be done along side your current role to help you gain the assessor experience! You will be training and assessing within the Health and Social frameworks/standards/stand alone, programmes, including level 5 in college and on-site ensuring achievement of agreed performance and quality targets.

About you

You must have relevant industry experience working in the sector in a leadership and management role and relevant sector qualifications up to level 5. If you currently hold an Assessor (A1 Award) qualification then that’s great; and if you don’t, we will provide full support to help you achieve these qualifications, which will be a requirement of the role.
