Derby College Group (DCG) are recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Manager (fixed term maternity cover-16 months) to join our TA team that sits within the HR department.  This is a great opportunity to improve processes, create efficiencies, and drive overall performance.  This role will involve hybrid working, including working at home and travelling between campuses as required.  If you would like to visit the site and meet the team before applying, please reach out to hrrecruitment@derby-college.ac.uk.

 

The Opportunity

Within this role you will deliver high quality, innovative, inclusive, and cost-effective recruitment and selection methods and processes, enabling DCG to attract and recruit talented people committed to the values, aims and objectives of the organisation. You’ll develop effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including hiring managers, senior leaders, HR colleagues, agencies, job boards, and potential/active candidates. You’ll work closely with the TA assistants to review and transform the current processes and templates; innovation and creativity are key within this role.

About you

To excel in this role, you’ll have great communication and interpersonal skills and be able to quickly build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.  You will need strong knowledge and understanding of recruitment processes and experience within a recruitment or talent acquisition role. You will have a solutions-focussed approach to problem solving and improving processes with excellent attention to detail, achieving high levels of accuracy, and have a desire to make your mark on the department and improve processes. It’s also essential that you are IT literate and have a great working knowledge of the MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
