Derby College Group (DCG) are seeking a Head of Rolls Royce Academy to lead, manage and develop the Engineering curriculum in the Rolls Royce Academy at the Rolls Royce site.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the Level 3 curriculum within the Rolls Royce Academy, delivered through DCG’s contracted provision. You will play a key role in driving high-quality, innovative teaching and learning in partnership with Rolls Royce, ensuring the curriculum meets both college and employer expectations. Working closely with Industry Partners, you'll support the delivery of apprenticeship programmes, uphold outstanding achievement rates, and contribute to continuous improvement through self-assessment and quality monitoring. You’ll also help identify opportunities for growth, using regional and national insights to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and forward-thinking.

About You
You are an experienced professional with a strong background in the engineering sector and a solid understanding of the Further Education landscape. With at least five years’ industry experience, you bring expertise in curriculum development, quality assurance, and apprenticeship delivery. You’re confident analysing data, influencing others, and driving high performance, while maintaining a strong focus on safeguarding, equality, and continuous improvement. You will hold a relevant Level 4 vocational qualification, with or working towards teaching, assessor, verifier, and management qualifications. Strong communication skills, strategic insight, and a commitment to excellence define your approach.
