We are seeking a proactive and talented Production Manager to join our dynamic team. Your role will be vital in effectively managing the process from prospect to implementation, and ensuring every aspect is covered, distributed and managed accordingly.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. To deliver an outstanding customer experience (Internal and external)
  2. Collect data, relevant documentation and other information to create specifications that demonstrate and detail how production will be implemented.
  3. Create a project plan and schedule that lists each task in the production schedule, taking full accountability for the task and the task's due date.
  4. Effectively interpret customer product briefs and requirements, identifying the specifications required and determining the most effective method of production as well as identifying appropriate internal solutions to be implemented.
  5. Planning the production schedule and activity for timely, on budget and safe production of quality products
  6. Quality assurance and standards.
  7. Asset management and maintenance, including full asset register and maintenance schedule and service agreements.
  8. Health and Safety for the department and people.
  9. Evaluation and continuous improvement of the production team
  10. Motivate, support, develop and cross train the production team.
  11. Arrange pre-production swatches and samples with the customer and raising SORD/PORD to reflect.
  12. Ownership of production supply chain, any invoice queries, and ensuring available stock management to commit to continuous production and minimise machine down time.
  13. To manage and maintain customer artwork files in a shared accessible facility
  14. Proactively manage artwork requests with in-house digitiser, logo visuals and conversion ensuring signed off completed artwork and DST file is stored in central file, appropriately dated and saved for generic extraction when required.
  15. Work with Specialists, to source backorder alternatives, to offer the customer and generic CS teams to reduce backorder lead times and values daily.
  16. Always ensure professional and effective conduct and customer (internal & external) management.
  17. Use internal and external software systems that benefit Complete but more importantly the customer.
  18. Oversee and continually improve the effective production, liaising with Sales, internal departments, the Customer and IT to ensure accounts are implemented in accordance with agreed processes.
