Treasury Manager - Maternity Cover

EVO Group are recruiting are a Treasury Manager on an initial 12-month fixed term contract to cover Maternity leave. Reporting to the Head of Finance and responsible for the management of the Treasury function, and its interaction with numerous departments throughout the business. The responsibilities of the role are wide and varied, including accounting, reporting and control, cash flow management, banking and investor relationships, project management and improvement, risk management and leading a team of circa. 3 people.


  • Development, implementation and monitoring of Treasury strategy and operational policies;
  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures
  • Daily management of the Group cash position, ensuring adequate liquidity for working capital needs, manage inter-company cash, identification of funding needs
  • Managing daily funding and the Group’s ABL facility
  • Ensuring compliance with the ABL facility agreement
  • Monthly reconciliation of cash balances
  • Cash flow forecasting – short term and longer term. Development of the cash flow forecasting procedures and processes to improve the quality and reliability;
  • Development of treasury reporting – for example, development of weekly reporting dashboards focused on cash performance, accuracy of forecasting etc…
  • Review and management of treasury risk
  • Support long term financing activities
  • Liaising with company investors, bankers, directors and senior managers
  • Driving changes within the Treasury team to ensure more efficient processes and procedures


  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a treasury environment
  • Professional Qualification (CTA, ATT, ACA, ACCA)
  • GCSE Maths (grade A or B)
  • A-levels (grade A or B);
  • 2:1 or higher degree pass in a finance relevant subject or Mathematics
  • Liquidity planning and cash forecasting
  • Treasury risk management
  • FX dealing
  • Excellent analytical and excel skills
  • The ability to communicate and work closely with the Senior Management team, and external stakeholders (banks and investors)
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Able to demonstrate evidence of development and enhancement of finance departments
