Banner Business Solutions (trading as Complete) is one of the UK’s largest business supplies and services company to both the public and private sectors. We provide facilities & PPE, technology, furniture, printed goods, managed print services and office stationery, workwear and managed services. We partner with companies both large and small, tailoring our approach to suit each workplace.

We are looking for a Head of Print to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract. They will be required to develop and lead the Print Division’s commercial strategy, business development, sales execution, product and go to market activities, account management and partner functions in accordance with the Print Division’s financial targets.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Ensuring the smooth operations of print production from the factory floor to the front of house
  2. Understanding the manufacturing process, technologies and capabilities – developing those technologies to grow and diversify manufacturing to offer a wider scope of opportunity
  3. Industry awareness on capabilities, trends and commercials
  4. Overseeing customer service and implementing technology solutions to drive process efficiency.
  5. Coordinate and integrate multiple departments in line with overall structure (production, creative, customer services, IT and sales)
  6. Mentor and motivate teams and individuals to drive productivity and engagement expectations.
  7. Reporting and monitoring overall operational performance for each department within category sector (KPI’s, SLAs etc)
  8. Drive, oversea and manage implementations across sales and technology – both new and existing.
  9. Supply chain management – monitoring supply commercials, product innovations/developments, contract adherence etc
  10. Managing external relations with client, vendors and service providers
  11. Project Management
  12. Contribute to annual budget planning and profit and loss reviews.
  13. Working with other category heads to understand market changes, business developments, overall business performance and manage process inline with expectations to suit
  14. Coordinating risks and issues within assigned projects with regular reporting and communications plans managed both internally and externally.
