Location: Newland House, Normanton (This is a full time, office based role)

 

Our Corporate Sales Team based in Normanton is looking for a Senior Internal Account Manager. The Senior Internal Account Manager will deliver a high-level of service to all potential and existing customers whilst increasing sales, product lines, profitability and developing long-term business relationships. In addition to developing new business and maximise sales through pro-active telesales calls.

What will I be doing?

  • Identifying new business opportunities at all times and prospect for new business everyday through outbound telesales activity
  • Identifying opportunity to quote and send the same day
  • Proactively increasing the product range sold into each customer
  • Understanding and fully utilising sales tools provided in order to maximise the full potential and spend of each customer
  • Achieving an initial gross profit margin
  • Achieving increased sales of an agreed percentage on existing customers
  • Ensuring all computerised records are kept up to date
  • Following and achieving weekly and monthly objectives
  • Actively supporting all marketing campaigns/outbound promotions by maximising take up where possible
  • Supporting the wider Corporate NDC team with the on-the-day queries
  • Liaise with Team Manager and internal departments to proactively support the team in resolving customer queries and complaints via first contact resolution
  • Communicating goals and deadlines to team members
  • Creating a productive work environment for the team using trust and other appropriate strategies
  • Assessing team performance and providing feedback to employees
  • Assisting with training employees
  • Assisting with the daily operation of the organisation
  • Providing the team with information about recent developments, programmes and policy changes
