New Business Telesales


Working as part of the Sales team, the lead generator will be responsible for making outbound calls to Corporate Businesses within the UK. Your main responsibilities will be to qualify, cleanse and process data to set up appointments and find potential new opportunities and clients for the new business sales team. You will be researching these potential leads and opportunities and updating our records, in order to find out how we can meet the changing needs of the markets and ensure we participate in procurement exercises. The Lead Generator will take ownership of generating new leads for the business and aim to maximise the potential from each call with an excellent telephone manner and upbeat outlook. In addition the Lead Generator will convert outbound dialling leads into qualified appointments, and pass these leads on to the relevant person.

You will be the first step in the prospecting process and will rely on your persuasive abilities and creative methods of finding potential new customers. Your primary tool is usually the telephone, though you may also find new business through email and social media contact and campaigns.


Desired skillset, knowledge and experience:

  • Previous B2B or B2C sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills and an excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • A positive approach to objection handling is essential
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Financially motivated, energetic and reliable with a hunger to succeed.
