VOW are recruiting for a new Account Director to deliver the budget and future growth of the Paper Category via our reseller customer portfolio. This will include account management, maximising sales opportunity where share of wallet exists across the Paper product category. This role is home based, with the requirement to travel as needed. 

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Delivering and exceeding the budgetary expectations of the channel (Rev/margin/KPI) by growing incremental share of wallet/new business across the paper category 
  • Identifying dealers that don’t currently buy volume Paper from VOW and implementing the sales opportunity and incremental cash margin to help grow account profitability.
  • Identifying target dealers and tracking performance via appropriate sales tools (CRM).
  • Developing the sales proposition in conjunction with functional heads (Operations, Sales, Service departments, Marketing).
  • Managing time effectively and efficiently, whilst working towards efficiency improvements. 
  • Creating an “ownership mindset” that challenges the status quo (constructively).
  • Forecasting sales numbers and product demand with a high degree of accuracy based on commercial assumptions that can be constructively challenged/discussed.
  • Working within the confines of a reward scheme delivering a consistent approach.
  • Producing Account Development Plans for Paper that clearly outline account growth and share of wallet opportunities.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Experience of driving sales and GP strategies.
  • Industry experience

  • The ability to provide evidence of new business wins as well as managing and growing existing business.
  • The ability to demonstrate high levels of performance within a pressurised environment.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to different levels of personnel.
