QHSE Advisor for Transport, Lutterworth

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an QHSE to join our Lutterworth based Logistics team, being responsible for the maintenance of the Company’s Management Systems (VMS/Entropy/Newground) and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and assisting with compliance to OHSAS 18001, ISO9001, ISO14001 including corrective and preventative measures.

You will be working with the Compliance and Relationship Manager to ensure that the Truline operation remains equipped, legal and safe.

This will entail the coordination of the required elements of the Management Systems, providing QSHE support to the Truline sites, having presence at all sites H&S meetings and producing statistics and analysis where required.

Other duties will include coordinating the completion of internal audits, assisting in BSI audits where required and reviewing all accidents and near miss incidents as well as supporting in making corrective actions and recommendations.

A full clean driving licence is essential as you must be prepared to travel to the various Truline sites. A good overall knowledge of transport operations would be advantageous.  Good IT skills are vital as is the ability to prioritize tasks, make decisions and remain calm under pressure.

We are looking for a candidate with a Nbosh general certificate and a lead auditor qualification or internal auditor qualification would also be desirable. Previous experience within a H&S role in the transport sector would be preferable, as would at least 3 years experience within a QSHE role.
