Sales Support Apprentice

Apprenticeship- Sales Support

 

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

The Apprenticeship role will develop new business and maximize sales through pro-active telesales calls. They will deliver a high-level of service to all potential and existing customers whilst increasing sales, product lines, profitability and developing long-term business relationships.

 Other responsibilities include;

  • Proactively increasing the product range sold into each customer
  • Understanding and fully utilizing sales tools provided in order to maximize the full potential and spend of each customer
  • Achieving an initial gross profit margin
  • Achieving increased sales of an agreed percentage on existing customers
  • Ensuring all computerized records are kept up to date
  • Following and achieving weekly and monthly objectives
  • Actively supporting all marketing campaigns/outbound promotions by maximizing take up where possible

  • Induction Programme
  • HR & Company Policies
  • Systems training
  • Understanding all the departments / functions in Banner eg CSD, Finance, Database, Marketing etc
  • Shadowing with Sales Reps & Team Leaders
  • Full knowledge of Public Sector Frameworks along with the NHS
  • Ongoing pro-active Sales calls and tools to maximise opportunities

Full training will be given so no experience required apart from a good telephone manner.
