Van Drivers x3 - Bury St Edmunds - (Day Shifts) No Weekends or Bank Holidays

We are looking for x3 Van Driver's (days) to join our Bury St Edmunds based Logistics team.

What will I be doing?

You will be responsible for ensuring that deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner whilst maintaining a good customer service attitude and approach.  You will adhere to departure times and abide by all traffic legislation.

Other duties will include loading the vehicle, ensuring all relevant documentation is in place before leaving the depot and using the relevant technology to obtain proof of deliveries.

What are we looking for 

• A good understanding of multi-drop deliveries
• Good knowledge of the surrounding geographical area
• Understanding of health and safety
• Flexible attitude to working hours and willing to do overtime where necessary
• The ability to work and communicate as part of a team
• Good written and verbal communication skills as well as good attention to detail
• Physically fit; all tasks require a degree of walking, standing, lifting or stretching. Some heavy lifting may be involved
• Basic numeracy and literacy
• Proactive/self starter/ self-motivated
• High levels of common sense
• High levels of integrity and honesty
• Positive approach to change and good sense of humour
• Flexible and enthusiastic with a “can do” attitude
