CSD/Liaison Executive


Reporting to the Customer Service Dept Supervisor, to action and complete all customers queries, returns and credits for the business

  • To process queries efficiently and ensure that customer requirements are met. 
  • To receive and action all inbound customer calls promptly and professionally. Small amount of outbound calls with call-backs, courier calls and supplier support 
  • To respond and action all carrier requirements to update all courier delivery, collection log updates and customer reports as part of Ireland liaison function 
  • To liaise with Sales/Field Sales to ensure that service levels are maintained and receive feedback on some customer’s queries on pricing etc. 
  • To liaise with Credit Control, and Distribution to complete all CSD tasks, queries and credit control queries that customers may have. 
  • Maintain the required standard of customer service levels at all times. 
  • Effective liaison with other departments and external couriers in order to maintain exceptional standards of customer service. 
  • Completion of CSD administration in line with ISO14001 quality procedures. 
  • To follow up all open queries/CRM diary and emails to customers. 
  • To ensure that customer calls are returned within one hour. 
  • To work and assist the members of your CSD team in completing all team tasks set out.

  • They should also be able to act upon their own initiative and make frequent well-informed decisions. 
  • They should enjoy a fast-paced approach to work activities and be able to cope with a variety of tasks and projects at any one time. 
  • Good organisational skills are essential. 
  • Above all, they should be bright, outgoing, enthusiastic and well-motivated with a natural, confident, pleasant and professional telephone manner, a desire to learn about our products, systems and customers and to excel in all that they do. 
  • Ability to work under pressure. 
  • A positive and proactive approach to change. 
  • Responds positively to KPI targets.
