Based:                Normanton/home. Requirement to travel between sites as job demands.

Role Specification

An opportunity has arisen for a Business Process Analyst, preferably with some AI / Robotic Process Automation (RPA) experience to drive value through process optimisation. Reporting to the Group Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for the assessment of departmental and cross functional processes and identify opportunities to streamline activities that support service, productivity, and performance improvements.

You will be required to represent both the Projects and IT teams to champion business process improvement working in cross functional, high visibility environments involving business partners outside of the department.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key responsibilities to include:

  • Conduct business process analysis and gap analysis, identifying issues and bottlenecks to make improvements.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand their needs and translate into detailed user stories and epics.
  • Work closely with business partners and support the design and development of solutions that meet the needs of the business.
  • Establishing criteria for measuring performance, then tracking results to ensure that goals are being met.
  • Communicate effectively and with confidence to present findings and make recommendations to management.
  • Laison between the development team, business partners and external suppliers.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Work closely with Project/IT teams to document changes, including procedural documentation and workflow, processes.
  • Keep up to date with new and emerging technologies.
  • Support Operational Teams during the UAT and rollout phases.

SKILLS & EXPERTISE

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • IIBA/Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).
  • Full, clean driving licence.

Essential:

  • Excellent knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques, including process modelling.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to quickly comprehend existing business processes, dissect complex business problems and conduct thorough analysis.
  • Adept at considering multiple scenarios to improve processes with proven experience of finding and proposing effective solutions to workflow issues.
  • A good level of technical proficiency, ideally with an understanding of databases, systems analysis, and familiarity with business intelligence tools.
  • Demonstrate awareness of the latest technological advancements and being able to apply this knowledge to improve business processes i.e., AI, RPA.
  • Good understanding of software development life cycle.
  • Have an excellent eye for detail and accuracy, be self-motivated, organised and work to agreed SLA’s.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills, with proven ability to overcome obstacles to process improvements.
  • Strong problem-solving, organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours due to working with international business teams.

Desirable:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, computer science, or related field.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably including automation tools.
