Summer Vacation Scheme

Our Summer Vacation Scheme is back again this year, and we're looking for three eager students per week to join us and learn the Express Way!

The scheme consists of a 5-day voluntary work placement, working 9 am to 5 pm. We offer participants £100 for the week to cover travel and any amenity costs.

We are looking for candidates with an LLB, GDL, BPTC, SQE, or LPC background who have a genuine interest in personal injury work.

Things you want to know

The placement will be a blended approach, with some in-office opportunities and some virtual, over Microsoft Teams. It will include a series of tasks and development opportunities. We always endeavour to give each work experience applicant the opportunity to conduct some legal work and the chance to attend court.

The dates for the scheme are:

• 22^nd July – 26^th July 2024
• 29^th  July  – 2^nd August 2024
• 5^th – 9^th August 2024
• 12^th – 16^th August 2024

Students must be available for one of these weeks.

You must be available for the whole week; we cannot offer alternative dates.

The deadline for applications is 9^th June 2024 at 6 pm.

Interview Process

Short-listed candidates will be invited to complete a Video interview, including technical questions about PI law, on Thursday, 13^th June 2024.

Video interviews must be submitted by Sunday, 16^th June 2024.

Video Interview reviews will be completed by Monday, 1^st July 2024, and candidate will be informed if they have made it to the next stage, that week.

Interviews will take place via Microsoft Teams from Friday, 5^th July to Thursday, 11^th July 2024.

Candidates will be notified of the final outcome by Friday, 12^th July 2024.
