Role

Express Solicitors are currently looking for an experienced Receptionist to work on a busy office switchboard. The role is to provide office and reception support in a busy legal environment during office hours.

 

Responsibilities

  • Answering telephones in a polite and professional manner.
  • Administration support, such as scanning and photocopying.
  • Making refreshments.
  • Ensuring meeting rooms are prepared.
  • Completing checklists on a daily/weekly basis as instructed.
  • Errands, such as buying milk for the office.
  • Helping to keep the office tidy.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.

 

Person specification

  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above.
  • Reception/Switchboard experience.
  • Administrative experience.
  • Experience of working in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience of dealing with customers on the telephone.
  • NVQs or qualifications in business administration.
  • Experience of working in a law or legal services firm is desirable.

 

Salary, Hours & Benefits

  • The salary is £24,672.65
  • Our standard working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8:30am to 5pm Friday.
  • 23 days holiday a year, rising to 26 days, plus public/bank holidays.
