Employment:  Permanent 

Hours:  37 hours per week 

Location: Maid Marian Way 

Salary:   Grade 6 to 6.2 (£32,500- £33,550) - pro rata for part time

Interview Dates: 22nd May, 2nd June and 4th June 2025

Our Advisors will support line managers and staff by providing a consistent and comprehensive professional advice and support service across the organisation.  This will include interpretation of policies and procedures, terms and conditions, absence management and employee relations as well leading on people related projects. Whilst this role will work across the whole employee lifecycle each advisor will have key specialisms that, with guidance from the P&C Manager and support from the wider team, they will lead and develop on.   

 

It is anticipated that one advisor will be responsible for all things Recruitment and Retention, including attraction, probation, staff benefits and performance and capability whilst the other Advisor will focus on the Employee Experience including reward and recognition, staff engagement, our family friendly policies and grievance and disciplinary. 

 

You will need to be: 

  • Qualified to CIPD level 5 or hold equivalent experience. 
  • A good team player and have excellent interpersonal, communication. and people management skills 
  • Able to grasp issues quickly and deliver effective and efficient solutions. 
  • Experienced in managing complex employee relations cases. 

 

This role will be hybrid with substantial opportunities to work from home however, you will need to be able to travel to our Nottinghamshire offices (Nottingham and Mansfield) to attend team meetings and support managers when necessary.
