At Habinteg, we are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to lead high quality finance business partnering across Habinteg. This is a key role supporting financial performance, strategic planning, value for money and practical decision making.
This opportunity would suit someone who is curious, ambitious and ready to step into a more influential role. You may already be operating at senior business partner level, or you may be looking for your first step up into a leadership role where you can manage and develop others while working directly with senior leaders.

What you’ll be doing
- Lead, manage and develop the finance business partnering team, providing clear objectives, regular supervision, coaching and support.
- Lead all aspects of Budgeting, forecasting, management accounts reporting.
- Build strong relationships with Directors, Heads of Service, budget holders.
- Provide financial insight, constructive challenge and practical decision support to senior leadership.
- Lead the annual budget setting process, in year forecasting and management accounting across all service areas.
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts, variance analysis and performance reporting.
- Support rent and service charge setting, including assumptions, budgets, policy compliance and regulatory considerations.
- Support value for money reporting, business cases, financial modelling, option appraisals and scenario analysis.
- Work collaboratively across finance to improve reporting, planning, systems, processes and financial management.

Experience and qualifications
You will have experience in finance partnering, management accounts, budgets and forecasts, with strong Excel and reporting skills. Experience in housing, property, not for profit or another regulated environment would be useful, particularly around rent setting, service charges, RSH returns, value for money reporting or sector benchmarking, but we welcome candidates with transferable experience and the right attitude.
