£24,332 - £42,526 per annum (dependant on qualifications & experience)
37 hours per week
Two fixed term positions available:
- Fixed term ending June 2026 – starting ASAP
- Fixed term to cover maternity leave - starting May 2025

About the Role
Due to an increased demand of enrolments in additional to maternity cover, we have two posts available within the BTEC Sport & Exercise Science programme. Within your application, please identify which and/or both roles you wish to be considered for.
- You will be expected to deliver exceptional teaching on our BTEC Level 3 Sport & Exercise Science programme which will assist students to achieve excellent results.
- As a personal tutor, you will advise and guide individuals in their progress, success and career aspirations.
- Inspiring students to appreciate and enjoy all aspects of sport, you will instill in them a passion for the subject and a desire to develop their understanding.
About You
- We welcome applications from unqualified, newly qualified and experienced teachers.
- Hold a teaching qualification or have a willingness to complete one.
- Possess a degree or equivalent in relevant subject area.
- Be able to demonstrate experience of delivering on the new Regulatory Qualifications Framework (RQF) Level 3 BTEC in Sport & Exercise Science within the FE sector would be advantageous.
- A strong understanding of the requirements of delivering externally assessed modules on the above qualification.
- The ability to deliver Functional Anatomy and Physiology based content would be beneficial.
