About the Role
- You will support the Assistant Head of Safeguarding and Wellbeing to ensure that Hartpury fulfils all of its statutory duties with regard to the safeguarding of children and adults at risk.
- You will enhance the experience of students in residential halls, developing a sense of community and providing safeguarding and wellbeing support in a sensitive and empathic manner.
- Form trusted relationships with our students, supporting them whilst raising awareness of how young people can keep themselves and others safe. This will involve awareness raising sessions with students.
- Working an average of 40 hours per week over an 8-week rota, hours of work are between 2000 hours – 0800 hours.
About You
- Hold a minimum of a Safeguarding Level 3 qualification.
- Experience of working with young people in an education setting.
- Experience of managing student wellbeing and pastoral concerns.
- Passionate about supporting young people to succeed and overcome challenges.
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with students and other adults.
