About the Role

Campus Development is within the Estates, Sustainability and Environment Directorate, and is responsible for the strategic planning and development of Hartpury’s buildings and infrastructure.

  • Assist the Assistant Director of Campus Development to deliver capital projects and the strategic maintenance plan for the Campus
  • Projects will be varied in size and nature and will need to be planned to be delivered alongside the dynamic range of activities that occur throughout the year across campus
  • You will work with colleagues to ensure Sustainability, Health and Safety are embedded in the delivery of projects
  • Assist with developing project briefs, tenders and contract documentation as well as coordinating Project Teams and overseeing contractors when on site
  • You will maintain accurate documentation and financial records for projects and ensure estates data is up to date     

 

About You

  • The successful candidate will have the drive and passion to deliver outcomes that align with Hartpury’ s mission and culture.
  • You will be looking for a role with variety and where no two days are the same.
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and keen to develop your client-side management skills across the full RIBA project lifecycle. 
  • You will have a degree or extensive experience in project management, construction, Property Management or a related field. 
  • You will be someone who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment and who has good stakeholder management skills.
  • A good communicator, well organised and take initiative and responsibility.  
  • You will understand the importance of Health and Safety and Safeguarding in an educational environment and be comfortable supervising contractors to ensure value for money, quality and adherence to Hartpury policies.
