Area Care Manager

As an Area Care Manager, you will support the Regional Care Director by providing the highest standard of care to our customers and carers within Helping Hands. You will be overseeing the day to day running of approximately 10 branches as well as the live in care service in your locality.

 Main Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and be instrumental in creating excellent working relationships ensuring that Helping Hands values are delivered in a professional manner and are always maintained, with members of the team, company, and customers.
  • Manage, report, and monitor performance within your branches and Live In service, always ensuring plans are put in place to improve. Report all progress being made along with agreed action plans to the Regional Care Director.
  • Deliver excellent customer service standards across the area to ensure that customer and carer focus is always delivered, this will increase retention though an excellent service.
  • Monitor and audit performance across your area to maintain 100% compliance across both services.
  • Provide the Regional Care Director with regular performance updates from your area to include steps taken to improve areas of underperformance and areas of opportunity along with an update on the progress being made with key projects.

About You

To be successful in this role you’ll need to have previous multi-site experience within the care industry. It is essential that you have significant experience of managing a large team and have good understanding of CQC/CIW guidance. You’ll need to have excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate, influence and implement change along with the ability to build effective relationships.
