Role Purpose

As a Paralegal you will be working in a demanding environment where your quick thinking, attention to detail and accuracy are vital attributes.

You will develop an understanding of commercial and residential real estate matters, assist on property transactions from start to finish, deal with client requests and the demands of your team often connected to sensitive or complex issues.

Key Responsibilities

In line with policies and procedures key responsibilities include:

  • Assist solicitors with all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, refinancing, and leases.
  • Establishing, maintaining, and organising matter files in accordance with firm policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicating with clients, solicitors, and external parties as required, ensuring the delivery of clear, timely, and professional updates.
  • Drafting a wide range of legal documentation, including leases, licences, deeds, transfers, Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) submissions, HM Land Registry applications, and formal reports.
  • Conducting legal research and presenting findings in a structured, accurate, and commercially relevant manner.
  • Demonstrating an understanding of professional ethics and legal practice requirements and supporting the team in the completion of anti‑money laundering (AML) and client due diligence checks.
  • Assisting with the preparation of client engagement documentation, fee estimates, and scope of work assessments.
