Digital Learning Designer

Howden Joinery is looking for a Digital Learning Designer to be based at our site in Howden, East Yorkshire. This role works closely with the Senior Learning Designer to create and maintain essential skills, content, and resources. You will use your expertise in learning design software to produce high-quality materials that support employee development. What Will You Be Doing as a Digital Learning Designer?

• Designing engaging L&D resources such as online courses, videos, and materials that make learning simple and effective.
• Uploading and managing content on the Howdens Learning Academy (LMS).
• Collaborating with system owners to review and ensure the quality of system guides.
• Resolving content-related queries and providing solutions to user issues.
• Continuously developing your skills to stay ahead in learning design trends and technologies.
• Some travel between sites may be required.
• You will collaborate across the L&D team and with stakeholders outside the department.

What Do You Need to Qualify for the Digital Learning Designer Role?

• Proficiency in Articulate (Storyline & Rise) and Adobe Creative Cloud. 
• Experience in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience in video production and editing.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines.
• Proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills with an engaging and clear style.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships.
• Reliable and dedicated work ethic with a passion for learning.
• Results-driven attitude with a commitment to making a positive impact.
