Trainee Kitchen Sales Designer (1-Year Fixed Term) - Dingwall, Scotland

As a Trainee Kitchen Sales Designer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and selling inspirational kitchens using Howdens Joinery's range of products. With the aid of computer-aided design (CAD), you will focus on safety, practicality, and customer satisfaction to achieve and exceed depot and company sales and growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and sell inspirational kitchens using Howdens’ range of products, ensuring the highest levels of customer service.
• Build and maintain long-term collaborative business relationships with trade customers and their clients.
• Utilise Howdens’ unique 'My Kitchen' service to create and showcase high-quality kitchen designs.
• Conduct site visits to measure spaces and assess customer needs.
• Process estimates, pricing, delivery dates, and stock requirements accurately for customers.
• Use your own vehicle for site visits during business hours (mileage expenses reimbursed).

Skills and Experience

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Strong creativity and planning skills to design practical and inspirational kitchens.
• Previous experience in design (CAD) and/or sales is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
• A proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• A full UK driving licence is required.
• Desire for continuous personal and professional development.
