Learning and Development Projects, Systems and Change Manager

Howdens Joinery are hiring for an experienced Learning and Development Projects, Systems and Change Manager to work as part of our Learning and Development team.  This is a new role and could be based in either our site in Howden, East Riding of Yorkshire or our site in Raunds, Northamptonshire.    Reporting into the Director of Learning and Development you’ll embed our Learning and Development framework across our organisation, framing, scoping and analysing the learning requirements of transformational activities in response to all project, change and systems training requirements. 

In this Management role you will be accountable for Identifying solutions and gaining stakeholder buy-in to learning approaches, maximising the performance of teams and delivering on agreed revenue targets and KPIs.  Additionally, you will lead a team who will be focused on delivering training when system upgrades or new systems are being implemented.

What You Will Do in This Role

  • Lead the delivery of projects, systems and change across the business utilising effective project management principles and managing project budgets.
  • Accountable for interpreting and managing the coordination and delivery of learning requirements in response to transformation and project needs.  
  • Partnering with Head of Internal Communications and the wider HR team to ensure all change activity is effectively communicated to the end user and relevant stakeholders.
  • Accountable for analysing and scoping Learning Management System functionality specifications that meet organisational requirements, collaborating with stakeholders and partners and co ordinating the implementation and roll out of any new systems.

What We Are Looking For

  • Knowledge of the Learning and Development cycle including experience of effectively implementing and leading others, in all stages  
  • Highly organised with experience in managing cross functional projects from idea to integration on time and within budget
  • Breadth and depth of programme management principles and methodology including the creation and maintenance of programme documentation and managing budgets
  • Skilled leader with proven coaching and consulting skills
  • Experience of stakeholder partnering and influencing to develop solutions that deliver a return on investment and building solid working relationships
  • Commercially astute with experience of analysing and interpreting data and
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable working with detail with the ability to apply strategic thinking
