Program Manager

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to join our central engineering team to support the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific projects.

In this role you will take responsibility for coordinating and reporting on the portfolio of projects and coordinate with stakeholders to develop project programs that ensure we meet project goals and objectives are met. You will be a strong decision maker with a successful track record working in an engineering or project management role looking to take the next step in your career.

What will you be doing as a Program Manager:

  • Liaising with Project Managers and Engineers to develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Reviewing and challenging project programs from external contractors
  • Assisting Engineers with the preparation of programs and monitor progress to ensure alignment with project goals
  • Consolidating programs into one Master Schedule Portfolio, managing the portfolio of all projects to ensure alignment and timely delivery
  • Monitoring and reporting on program compliance, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and regulatory requirements
  • Implementing best practices and lessons learned to improve project management processes
  • Identifying potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Providing administrative support to the program management team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.

What do you need to qualify for the Program Manager:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business administration, project management or a related field
  • A program or project management professional qualification
  • Proven experience of driving continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools including Asana
  • An excellent understanding of project management principles and practices
