Accuracy Checker | Nights

We are recruiting an Accuracy Checker to join our warehousing team based at our distribution site in Raunds, Northamptonshire.

Reporting to the S&A Group Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring stock accuracy from suppliers within the Campus and delivery to Depot, to minimise non-conformance, ensure stock accuracy and reduce delivery failures.

Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday 10:00pm – 06:00am (fixed shift)

What will you be doing as an Accuracy Checker:

  • Ensure Inbound deliveries are received accurately onto WMS, also notifying non-conformance such as quantity discrepancy or incorrect pack configuration.
  • Inspect pallets received against Howdens Pallet specification, and request NCR for non-Compliance
  • Check EAN barcodes on inbound product to ensure they scan, and raise NCR for non-compliance
  • Adherence to the PI cycle schedule
  • Accuracy of stock counting
  • Outbound checking to ensure the accuracy of supply to depots
  • Resolving and recording pick errors
  • Reducing nil picks by ensuring accurate availability of stock in the pick face

What do you need to qualify for this role?

  • Experience and knowledge of current internal warehouse processes and product ranges would be highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills with the proven ability to display outstanding attention to detail.
  • The ability to work in accordance with Health and Safety procedures.
  • Previous experience of working within a stock and inventory team would be advantageous.
