We are looking for an IT Operations Analyst. Reporting to the Operations Shift Leader and IS Operations Manager, this is a role that would suit someone with some experience monitoring systems or someone from a Service Desk/Desktop Support position looking for the next step in their career.

What you will be doing as an IT Operations Analyst:

You will be responsible for monitoring and controlling computer systems daily and will also provide 1st line Support when the Service Desk partners operating hours finish. You’ll need to be self-motivated and a confident communicator as you’ll be acting as the first point of contact and escalating issues when needed.   This is a 12hr shift based role (24 x 7) which does include a 10% shift allowance. It would, therefore, be highly beneficial if you have worked in a shift based role before.

What we need from you:

  • Basic knowledge of Wintel / PC Usage / Microsoft Outlook
  • An understanding and previous experience of using a call logging system
  • Previous experience working in a shift based Operations environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Able to build rapport with support teams, users and third party contacts.
  • Confidently able to work as part of a team and use own initiative to highlight potential issues.
  • Ability to produce reports using Excel and PowerPoint would be an advantage.
  • An understanding of ITIL would be desirable.

What we can offer you:

  • Competitive salary and annual company bonus
  • Excellent pension scheme (company contribution of up to 12%)
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays with the option to buy additional days
  • Staff Discount
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Exceptional Reward and Recognition events
