We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, energetic, and reliable person to join our team at West Bridgford Library as a Building Officer.
The successful candidates will be flexible, conscientious, self-motivated and be able to offer a variety of practical skills.
The role of Building Officer is to ensure the highest possible customer experience across Inspire buildings as required by undertaking building related duties and routine maintenance to ensure buildings are secure, safe, clean, and welcoming and operate smoothly and efficiently at all times.
Duties include opening & locking up, setting up of rooms, some basic IT work, ensuring high levels of cleanliness in the building, basic maintenance and playing a key role in ensuring that West Bridgford Library is a safe and appealing place to work in and to visit. Good Customer service is also required.
West Bridgford Library does have some events scheduled until 10pm and so flexibility would be required to help with these, and other evening room hires that may be scheduled in during the week.
We are also open 7 days a week and until 7pm on Tuesdays. • Average of 35.75 hours per week on a two-week rota

Overview:

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, energetic and reliable person to join our team based at Newark Library and working across other sites in the area as a Building Officer.
As a Building Officer, you will undertake a range of duties including opening and closing the building, cleaning, maintenance, record keeping and ensuring all health and safety requirements are met. You must have a good understanding of customer service, have excellent communication skills and experience of caretaking or cleaning.
The post is 20 hours per week, flexibility will be required to cover some evening lettings.
Saturday 9am to 4pm, Monday 7.30am to 6.30pm, Tuesday 7.30am to 11am.

We currently have a vacancy for an Employability/Personal & Social Development Tutor on our programme running from Hucknall Young People’s Centre.
We are looking for an experienced, passionate, outstanding individual to deliver Aim Award qualifications at entry level, L1 and L2 to young people aged 16-24 on our Study Programmes. The role also involves some delivery of Maths and English Functional Skills.
The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering education and/or training to young people and will be qualified to at least Level 3. He or she will also be expected to embed maths and English and need to be qualified to at least grade A-C/5-9 in GCSE (or equivalent L2) in these subjects.
A Level 5 teaching qualification is also desirable, although the successful candidate could be willing to work towards this and support would be given.
The role is full-time Mon-Fri 8.30 – 4.00. Term-time only can be considered.

Inspire College is recruiting term-time Learning Support Assistants at its Hucknall base for the academic year up to Jul 26.
Inspire College works with 16 to 24 year-olds on full-time Study Programmes. Some of these learners have mild to moderate learning difficulties and/or social, emotional and mental health issues. Many have Education, Health and Care Plans and some can present with challenging behaviour.
The ideal candidates should have experience of developing constructive working relationships with other professionals. Additionally, they will have a good understanding of the issues facing young people in today’s society and have a positive, enthusiastic attitude in helping them overcome their barriers to education.
A – C GCSE grades (or equivalent) in English and Maths are required, as is an ability to recognise and respond to the needs of young people, in turn providing the necessary encouragement and motivation needed to help them succeed.
The hours are 8.30 – 4.00, 3 days a week, Tues-Thur. Lunches are taken with and while supporting the young people. Additional days may also be available, for example supporting young people on work placement.
This is an excellent opportunity to pursue a career in education with an expanding local organisation which delivers vital services to both adults and young people across the county. Training and support will be given to help the successful candidates undertake the role.

Are you looking for a HGV driving opportunity in Nottinghamshire?
We think our mobile library drivers are a vital part of our library service and Inspire is looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated person to join our Mobile Library Services Team.
Based at Southwell Library the post holder will be responsible for driving the Mobile Library and delivering a frontline library service. You will provide a high-quality service to our rural communities engaging with customers and actively promoting books, library resources and the wider Inspire offer.
You will need to be reliable, organised and confident with IT. Previous experience in customer service and excellent communication skills are required.
The successful candidate will:
• Be responsible for ensuring the vehicle and other equipment used comply with relevant legislation, reporting faults and defects.
• Hold an LGV [Category C] Driving Licence as well as evidence of CPC [Certificate of Professional Competence].
• Carry out all vehicle related duties including maintaining accurate records, regular vehicle checks and fault reporting.
• Be able to work alongside staff and volunteers in promoting safe practices for the transportation and delivery of stock and other equipment.
