We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, energetic, and reliable person to join our team at West Bridgford Library as a Building Officer.

The successful candidates will be flexible, conscientious, self-motivated and be able to offer a variety of practical skills.

The role of Building Officer is to ensure the highest possible customer experience across Inspire buildings as required by undertaking building related duties and routine maintenance to ensure buildings are secure, safe, clean, and welcoming and operate smoothly and efficiently at all times.

Duties include opening & locking up, setting up of rooms, some basic IT work, ensuring high levels of cleanliness in the building, basic maintenance and playing a key role in ensuring that West Bridgford Library is a safe and appealing place to work in and to visit. Good Customer service is also required.

West Bridgford Library does have some events scheduled until 10pm and so flexibility would be required to help with these, and other evening room hires that may be scheduled in during the week.

We are also open 7 days a week and until 7pm on Tuesdays. • Average of 35.75 hours per week on a two-week rota

Would you like to work in an education provision in which no two days are the same and you can truly make a difference to the lives of young people?

Do you feel that you have the skills, knowledge and experience to motivate young people in achieving their potential?

We currently have a vacancy for an Employability/Personal & Social Development Tutor on our programme running from Hucknall Young People’s Centre.

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, outstanding individual to deliver Aim Award qualifications at entry level, L1 and L2 to young people aged 16-24 on our Study Programmes. The role also involves some delivery of Maths and English Functional Skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering education and/or training to young people and will be qualified to at least Level 3. He or she will also be expected to embed maths and English and need to be qualified to at least grade A-C/5-9 in GCSE (or equivalent L2) in these subjects.

A Level 5 teaching qualification is also desirable, although the successful candidate could be willing to work towards this and support would be given.

The role is full-time Mon-Fri 8.30 – 4.00. Term-time only can be considered.

Are you an enthusiastic and qualified teacher of English looking for a new challenge?

Inspire College is keen to recruit a tutor to deliver Functional Skills and GCSE courses to young people on its study programmes across Nottinghamshire.

The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering Functional Skills English up to Level 2, and GCSE programmes. They will also need to be qualified to GCSE level (A-C/5+ or equivalent) in both Maths and English. Experience of delivering Maths would also be an advantage, although training can be provided. A relevant teaching qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, DET, or equivalent) is also desirable.

Inspire, Culture, Learning and Libraries is a charitable Community Benefit Society delivering library, cultural and learning services across Nottinghamshire. We believe our Library Customer Service Advisors are key to our success in achieving our vision to inspire people across Nottinghamshire to read, learn and enjoy culture.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team in the Carlton Cluster of libraries based in Carlton Library.

We are looking for someone who is professional, friendly and who shares our passion for reading, heritage, culture, and learning. Our customers are at the heart of our service, so we want someone who is enthusiastic and keen to help people get the most from our service and have a positive experience when visiting the library.

You will have an interest in libraries, and all that libraries offer. You will have experience of working with the public in either a paid or voluntary capacity and have excellent customer service skills. You will have the ability to treat all customers with fairness and respect. You will be able to use ICT competently and be willing to undertake any additional learning as required. You will be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. You will be able to deliver our Rattle Rhyme and Roll sessions for Under 5’s in the library.

We think that our Library Customer Service Advisors are at the heart of our library service, and we have a great opportunity to join our small team at Ladybrook Library (this post includes some sessions when you will be lone working).

We’re looking for someone with excellent customer service skills who loves helping others and who would welcome the chance to inspire people of all ages to read, learn and enjoy culture.

Our libraries offer a wide range of services and you will make sure that everyone’s experience with us is a positive one.

You will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, energetic and proactive in looking for ways to develop and improve library services and outcomes for customers. You will also be committed to supporting the delivery of arts, cultural and learning services delivered through libraries. You will have experience of working with the public in either a paid or voluntary capacity and be able to work using your own initiative as well as part of a team. You will also have experience of using computers and should be able to use ICT competently and safely.

An interest in and knowledge of public library services, plus an interest in broader culture and learning are essential requirements for this post.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high quality (Ofsted Grade 2 - Good) Adult Community Education Service that supports the residents of Nottinghamshire.

You will have experience of working in Further Education in a quality role, and will have experience of both non-accredited, accredited and 16 to 18 provision (including High Needs Learners). You will also be familiar with Ofsted Inspection Frameworks, and will have participated in successful Ofsted inspections in an FE environment in the past.

You will have experience of supporting the recruitment of learners to FE provision, (both adults and young people) and will have management experience of a small team. You will be responsible for managing Inspire Learning's Quality Assurance programmes and for managing a small team of dedicated learner recruitment, Information Advice and Guidance Officers and IT support colleagues.
