Overview:

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced, passionate and outstanding tutor to deliver a new and exciting course to young people in Digital Promotion for Business on our programme running from the new YMCA Community and Activity Village in Newark.

The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering education and/or training to young people and will be qualified to at least Level 3. You will also be expected to embed maths and English and need to be qualified to at least GCSE (A-C or equivalent L2) in these subjects. A Level 5 teaching qualification is also desirable, although the successful candidate could be willing to work towards this and support would be given.

We think that our Library Customer Service Advisors are at the heart of our library service, and we have a great opportunity to join our team in the Carlton Cluster of libraries based at Burton Joyce Library. Burton Joyce is a lively community library with lots of events and activities aimed at children and adults throughout the year.

Services are delivered with the help of volunteers, who add value to our offer. We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills who loves helping others, and who would welcome the chance to inspire people to read, learn and enjoy culture.

Our libraries offer a wide range of services, from Rhymetime sessions for babies and toddlers to helping people use our computers.

You will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, energetic and proactive in looking for ways to develop and improve library services for the community. You will also be committed to supporting the delivery of arts, cultural and learning events and services delivered through the library. You will have experience of working with the public in either a paid or voluntary capacity and be able to work using your own initiative as well as part of team. You will also have experience of using computers and should be able to use ICT competently and safely.

An interest in and knowledge of public library services, plus an interest in broader culture and learning are essential requirements for this post.

Overview:

At Inspire, our mission is to inspire people to read, learn and enjoy culture, and we know how important the role of our staff have in helping people achieve this and the knowledge and skills required. This is why we are very pleased to offer the opportunity to gain the new Library, Information and Archive Services Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship.

There are three opportunities available. Working as a Library Customer Service Advisor at Mansfield Central Library, Worksop Library or Newark Library and supported by Barnsley College, you will get both the work experience and the training needed for you to be successful in gaining the qualification. One day a week will be devoted to off-the-job training which, once a month, includes virtual tutorials with Barnsley College.

We’re looking for a dynamic and flexible individual with excellent customer service skills. You will be interested in developing a career within the Libraries and Archives sector. You will be someone who loves helping others and who would relish the chance to inspire people to read, learn and enjoy culture.

We have three opportunities based at either Mansfield Central Library, Worksop Library or Newark Library however there is an expectation that you will work in other libraries as required. This may include evening events and weekends.

Experience of working with the public in either a paid or voluntary capacity would be useful as would having worked using your own initiative as well as part of a team. You will also have experience of using computers and should be able to use ICT competently. Inspire Learning is seeking an experienced professional to help move our Adult and Community Learning Service from Good to Outstanding at the next Ofsted Inspection.

Due to the retirement of the existing post holder, there is a fantastic opportunity to join Nottinghamshire's Adult and Community Learning provider, delivering programmes to young people and adults across the County. You will be an experienced Further Education professional, who has experience of leading quality assurance processes, including Self-Assessment Reports, Quality Improvement Plans, Observation of Teaching Learning and Assessment and Contract Compliance. You will also manage the Head of the new Student Services Team, and be responsible for the quality of Information, Advice and Guidance, provision for Higher Needs Learners and the management of Learner and Learning support to ensure that all our learners get the high quality of support they need to be as successful as they can be. Finally, you will take a lead on identifying and delivering the Continuous Professional Development that colleagues across Inspire Learning need to ensure that their delivery is consistent with the best practices across the Further Education sector.
